Andaman: The place that won over our hearts on the honeymoon

Short and crisp travelling stories are always dear and are quite helpful when people look out on visiting a particular place. This is one such short and ample story of mine which turned out to be extra special just because it had not been a usual journey of mine as this time I had been married and the journey was tagged as honeymoon and I also had a partner along with me. That was pretty much what made it worth as well where we had decided to head off to the Andaman Islands so that the travel junkies in us could enjoy some beach time which both of us had not had since a long time. We did not have friends there and hence decided to get in touch with tour planners named Andaman tour travel who planned us a small and happy Andaman honeymoon journey. We headed off on the package and the destination had been a transit away for us were from Pune we got on at Chennai and then finally after 6 hours we reached our spot of the visit.

We reached and the driver received us with flowers and an extra happy face and quickly dropped us to our hotel for the night stay where with concern, he said us that we could eat our dinner and sleep. We lept inside and the reception manager took us to our room where we fancied almost everything that had been inside our honeymoon suite. The next day early in the morning, we got into the car and the driver drove us to the ferry point where we had been looking out on a ferry that would be taking us to Havelock Island. We were bound to two beuatiful beach spots of which one was Radhanagar beach and the second was Elephant Beach. The former beach had been one that had fame in its name as one of the most ravishingly beautiful beaches existing in this world and the latter place had been one where. Our sea journey had been exciting as well where we got enjoyed the waves that moved as the ship moved. It was something that we had never experienced at Pune or any other place I had been to. In around two hours we reached and the place where we had been heading was undoubtedly Radhanagar Beach. But in the midway, we decided to brunch and the driver took us a nice place for it. After we had had our English brunch, we continued the journey and reached the beach.

The one thing that I noticed as we reached was the number of tourists it had been attracting but in a very short span of time, I was redirected to the beauty of the beach where the turquoise blue water shimmered in the sunlight. This was absolutely some sort of magic spell where both of us wondered, how a place could look exactly like that of those we had dreamt of as kids when reading fairy stories. Thankfully there were some photographers who were ready to give us instant photographs due to which we decided to get some fancy couple pictures from the beach shore. Keeping it safely in the bag we dipped our legs in the water and after some fun, we got back to the driver who then told that we could make way to the Elephant beach as we were to have our snorkeling expedition in the water. It is absolutely necessary that any traveler take an expedition underwater at the Andaman Island as it is rich in coral reefs and marine animals and hence one could have a dreamy swim through it. Even though Pune had diving centers the very natural thing one would get to see here is much more valuable than the man-made ones. Ours had been dreamier than I had thought of for we swam holding hands and viewing each thing with startled eyes. A number of other activities were being done by the tourists there but we were back to hunger call and hence the driver dropped us at a restaurant for food.

We had planned to stay at Havelock for the night and by the beach, we spent the entire evening and night walking through the small streets and vendors and catching the most precious sunset. The next day morning we woke up for another ferry journey that took us to the Neil Island. The driver gave us an ample timing of two hours after visiting the Howrah Bridge which is known to have been made of coral reefs itself. And then he dropped us at the Laxmanpur beach and asked us to call him when we were done sightseeing. We walked all along the way and got to see a beach shack restaurant from where we had our lunch for the day. The people who had been there being absolutely awesome as they clicked us some pictures while we were inside, hogging our food. After food, we walked as long as we could along the place and talked to each other for the day had the perfect weather that even Pune had not gifted us until now. When t was the time for the ferry, we called the driver who dropped us at the ferry point. The journey back was also pleasant where we did not catch any seasickness. As we reached Port Blair we were taken to the Cellular Jail as the driver said us it closes in one hour. We reached and inside had been the Jail of which we had studied once. It was ancient and that one-factor was more than enough for anyone to visit the place. We walked along the cells where they had information for us. By late evening we had our flights back to Pune and hence it was the last place to visit for us on our tour.

That was about our honeymoon visit where we found enough time out of a weekend and our sick leave and got to have maximum fun at the destination. We had made a couple of memories by indulging in the water activities and walking along few of the best beaches existing in the world. When we had been returning back after our Andaman tour package from Pune had been over, what we had really in mind was how we could let people know of the perfect honeymoon trip one could have at this destination. One can definitely weave a small story out of their honeymoon to this destination that leaves anyone with worthful memories.
